This pretty recreational lake is just a short drive from the Fresno area and is nestled in the foothills over the San Joaquin Valley. The winding two lane road heading into the hills traverses along the Kings River and provides gorgeous mountain views along the way. This is a very popular boating and fishing lake, but it's also great for just soaking your feet while letting your dog play!
