It's as breathtaking as you've heard! Lake Tahoe is a large fresh water lake that borders CA & NV. From the Fresno area, Tahoe is about a 4.5 hour drive whether coming in from the north through Donner Pass or the south up through Emerald Bay. It's a perfect weekend destination for relaxation or recreation! But for a nature lover like me, this up north-like woodland mountain lake is all about the scenery.
